Our weekly availability is faxed, emailed and posted on our web sites every Friday evening. Prebook orders placed prior to March 15 (the shipping season) are given preferred treatment. We urge customers to send in their orders as soon as possible to ensure a spot on the next delivery truck. Availability of plant material is subject to crop shortages or failures due to unforeseen circumstances.
We can prepare separate invoices for each of your jobs at special request. There will be a $20 charge per invoice unless you maintain a volume of at least $30,000 annual sales (based upon the previous year's sales). Material reserved and placed on hold beyond 30 days will require a non-refundable 25% deposit. Material held beyond 30 days may incur a separate care & maintenance charge.
Restocking Fee All orders cancelled or rescheduled after the order has been pulled will be subject to a 25% restocking charge.
Claims All claims must be made at time of delivery. We cannot guarantee losses for which we have no control.
Plant Guarantee Our plants are grown true to name in accordance with standards established by the Perennial Plant Association. They also meet quality assurance standards for container-grown perennials set by the P.P.A.
Terms and Conditions All prices F.O.B. Glen Arm, MD. All prices are subject to change without notice. All orders are C.O.D. unless credit has been established prior to delivery. A credit application must be completed in order to establish an account. All credit orders are due net 30 days. Interest charges on all open invoices after 30 days are at a rate of 2% per month (EAR 24%). We sell wholesale to the trade only. Accounts over 60 days are converted to C.O.D. or cash-in-advance. For Maryland businesses, we will charge 6% sales tax unless we have a copy of your tax-exempt form on file.We will charge you the appropriate tax unless we have your tax resale number documented and on file. All pickup orders should be arranged at least 24 hours in advance. If our delivery trucks are unable to be unloaded within 30 minutes of arrival a surcharge may apply at a rate of $100 per hr.
Customer Satisfaction We pride ourselves on our professional and courteous nursery staff. We have extensive experience in all areas of perennial horticulture. We are ready to clarify any perennial questions, suggest appropriate substitutions, set up speedy deliveries, or check perennial availability. All of our efforts are focused on providing you with the best customer service possible.
Delivery and Pickup The Perennial Farm maintains a fleet of owned and leased trucks to serve you. We observe all state and federal trucking regulations and employ only properly licensed and insured drivers. Trucking services are expensive and require a tremendous amount of complicated regulations. This is all obviously costly. These delivery costs are not built into the cost of our plants and must be recovered in a separate delivery charge. Our drivers are friendly and courteous. Our drivers are pleased to assist you in the unloading of your order upon delivery.Plants are delivered on protected shelved racks. We can deliver to your job site with a number of different sized trucks. There is a $50 drop charge for all job sites.
Delivery racks can be left at your location only if pre-approved. They will be billed for if not returned or arranged for pickup within 15 days after drop off. Racks can not be left at a job site.
