Rich’s passion for plants began during his studies at the University of Maryland, College Park in their landscape management program. Following successful stints at various garden centers, he owned and operated a landscape design company for over 12 years before joining The Perennial Farm. With over 25 years experience in the garden center and landscape industry, Rich continues to bring a vast array of knowledge and a superb knack for customer service to each and every client.

In just over 6 years working with perennials Laura has already held a multitude of positions in Delaware and on Maryland’s Eastern Shore in garden centers, landscaping companies and nurseries, giving her hands-on experience in the field. Laura spent 3 years as a sales rep for Conard-Pyle before joining The Perennial Farm team. Having taken courses and seminars through DNLA and Delaware Technical Institute, Laura is able to continually serve her customers with an ever-expanding breadth of knowledge and experience.

Scotty’s horticultural career began in 1990 at Valley View farms working hands-on as the perennial manager for 9 years. Earning a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics and recognition as a certified horticulturist, Scotty has also taught several courses through the Master Gardener Program in Washington, D.C. He then took his talents west to Colorado where he was a garden shop and perennial manager for five years. Since his return to Maryland three years ago Scotty has taken his great attitude and extensive expertise (along with quality Perennial Farm plants) to every customer.

Alice’s love of horticulture began in the early 90’s. She has extensive experience in high volume landscape and retail purchasing. For the past five years, she has been in wholesale sales, partnering with buyers to achieve their goals and expectations in retail, rewholesale and landscape. Alice specializes in perennials, and has been a featured guest on Martha Stewart episodes. John has an extensive history in the sales industry, dating back to 1972. He has been in the garden business since 1982 and has expanded his expertise selling perennials over the past 5 years. He achieved his Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Pace University and spent 28 years as a sales rep for New England pottery. Over the years John’s enthusiasm toward garden centers and landscapers has earned him a sterling reputation, known for his excellent customer service and dependability.

Her knowledge and love for plants is surpassed only by her passion towards high levels of customer service. Diane believes in "customer service with a personal touch."
